Hi, I’m Becky – the face behind PlanetBecky!

I’ve always loved growing, making, and creating. Some of my earliest memories are of helping my mum in the garden, where even the smallest harvest felt like a victory. Fast forward to today, and you’ll find me knee-deep in my allotment, still chasing that same joy of pulling something fresh from the soil and saying, “I grew this!”

PlanetBecky is a way to share my journey – from gardening and allotment adventures, to cooking and baking in my little kitchen, to learning how to live more simply and save towards my dream of owning a cottage with a big garden. Along the way, I’ve discovered a passion for documenting it all — the wins, the fails, and everything in between.

I’m not here to pretend life is perfect. I’ve set myself big goals: building a side hustle through YouTube, blogging, and creative projects, all while working a 9–5 and saving for my future home. But I believe in being transparent and sharing the real side of it — the budgeting, the saving, the learning curves — so that others can join me on the journey, not just watch from the sidelines.

When I’m not digging in the soil or scribbling down blog ideas, you’ll usually find me with my Kindle in hand, planning my next baking experiment, or daydreaming about what the PlanetBecky brand can grow into.

This little space is more than just a blog — it’s a community. Whether you’re here to pick up gardening tips, frugal living hacks, or simply to find inspiration for a slower, simpler lifestyle, I’m so glad you’ve found your way here. Grab a cuppa and stick around… let’s grow something beautiful together.
